Just booked our shore excursions!

Mum and I are so excited, we've just booked out shore excursions for our Norwegian cruise in May.

Thanks to all your help the other month we have booked the train at Flam (we know it's cheaper to just pay on arrival at Flam but being first timers, and having been told how popular it is, we need our hands to be held ) and we've booked the troll cars version of the Olden glacier to save mums legs.

As suggested, at the other stops we're just going to mooch around the towns ourselves, we fancy the look of the Bergen cable car (well mum does, I'm terrified of heights ) have any of you done the cable car? Was it easy to find?

Not long now, just 108 sleeps to go!

Flam railway is enjoyable. A snap I took a few years ago is attached.

Bergen cable car is easy to find, and is fine for those of us scared of heights as it is more a funicular. Views and woodland walks at the top are a really nice change of pace.
