Hi
I just put mine in and leave it on low all day ie pop it in before I go to work (around 7.30am) and then it's all ready for me when I get in around 5.30pm. That goes for anything I cook in It, I've never gone by any instruction book. I've just popped a whole chicken in mine and put it on low, we won't eat until around 4-5pm. |

There is a very good slow cooker kindle book at only £1.49 from Amazon. Surprising just what you can do

Slow and low I always think is best with my slow cooker, I'd have it on all day sat in a bit of beef stock.

I just put my beef on a bed of vegetables (onion carrot & leek) and cook it on low all day. The beef makes it's own juice while cooking and I use some of this in the gravy.

Is it 7.5 kegs or 1.5 kg if it's smallest Iain wouldn't even put it in the slow cooker Silverside is the one joint I find is better cooked in the oven and I use my slow cooker all the time
