What a huge disappointment, I am thinking of you and your family

I was wondering at the weekend how you and your son was doing. Must be very difficult to have it all built up to the op and then for it not to be viable. Fingers crossed something may come up. Wishing your son all the best for chemo treatment if this has to go ahead. X the paediatric oncology team DD had were absolutely fantastic. It took us ages to get 'the bag' right for her treatment sessions etc. Look after yourselves. X

I missed your original thread but read this thread title, thinking here we go, someone who has missed their fastpass slot or been told their flight leaves an hour later then planned ..
But today really must have been an awful day.

What a day for you all, but I’m pleased that he appears to be at the top of the transplant list, despite only being on it for a short time.

Fingers crossed the call comes soon, with the news that a viable organ has been found.

Oh gosh - what a nightmare of a roller coaster!

My aunt had a kidney transplant over 20 years ago when she was in her 50s and she did very well on it!
