got more & more implausible by the minute, the ending was just beyond stupid!

made benidorm look like thought provoking dram

kay mellor usually does realistic gritty 'northern' stuff but this!

im amazed any of the impressive cast list agreed to be involved

I do agree with you but I still enjoyed it! As you said though, completely implausible!

I enjoyed it up until the last half of the last episode when it just got ridiculous! It had had some good twists until that point.

What a poor ending; it was as if the writer (who normally does well written drama IMO) had to finish it off in 10 minutes and couldn't come up with a better plan! The other thing that baffled me was the daughters pregnancy... how was that relevant to anything?!

I liked it but thought the ending was garbage and clearly left open for a second series. I'm a big Kay Mellor fan usually but this wasn't her finest moment.

agree the last 30 mins it just all unravelled into total farce with to many obvious faults

being pushed off a cruise ship x floors above the water, being rescued by a passing fishing boat crew who dont report anything and just let him go off to be a pub singer in the local town... no DNA / dental records used in idenfying the 'body', the son also attempting to push his dad* in, and the daughter and the bloke from harry potter having a baby ? what did that have to do with anything ?

then a comical "murder" / stash the body in a suitcase and throw it off a cliff... **

** Kay Mellor would never write a plot with 3 blokes killing a woman and throwing her off a cliff and then laughing about it... there would be an outcry...
