No don't worry we aren't. Travelling down the day before & staying at Hampton by Hilton on hiltons points so effectively free, but the down side is no parking included.

Hence the M&G investigation. Looking at the M&G on My Gatwick which for 16days is £99.90. Seems good value and cheaper that £126.90 for the long stay parking.

Only ever done the T2 multistory at Manchester which is so much cheaper than the equivalent at Gatwick. Would prefer to take my keys with me but no one will want my green Skoda

We are using my son's drive to park for this trip, he lives not far from LGW, then a quick cab to the airport. Night before to stay in the hotel.

Ahh well done. We missed a multiple fatal on the M25 by an hour one afternoon. It took them until 10.00am the next morning to clear the road and reopen it.
We were on the 11.20 VA flight and they announced there were 100 empty seats due to no shows.

We banked over the M25 and it was gridlocked for 10 miles.

Not so difficult if there is a disclaimer tucked away in the contract that you sign.

Never had a problem with meet and greet at Gatwick and have used quite a few different companies .
We just give them a rough time and if we are running late or early then we just give them a call on route and let them know , it’s never been an issue .
Love being able to just wheel the cases over the road than queue up for a bus

That’s why I read the T&C’s

Usually they accept responsibility on the drive to/from the secure lot but not on the lot. But there again their lot is a lot more secure than a car park where the public have access and has Mr Tom Morrow has stated their car park is like Fort Knox.

They don’t accept responsibility for theft if it was stolen without the keys but accept responsibility if it was stolen with the keys.

So the only extra risks of Meet & Greet over self park are

1. They drive you car to their (more secure) car park - which is covered by their insurance.

2. You give them your keys - If the car is stolen using the keys they pay.

Other than that the risks are somewhat similar with the exception that the public cannot walk willy nilly around their compound.

There are far too many horror stories for my DH to ever give his keys to anyone else - regardless of T&Cs.

the guy a mentioned in my earlier post had his car stolen with the keys - the M&G accepted no responsibility and he had to claim off his insurance.

For the sake of a 10 minute bus ride its not worth it!

Having seen my Mates 10 year old vintage and valuable Volvo trashed by suitcases being dragged past it in a 'park yourself' type place I do. But there is no right or wrong answer, just opinions.

We used meet and greet last time and were really happy with it. I think it does pay to use approved people as there are pluof cowboys out there.

It’s all horses for courses 😃
