Newark airport to times square area
We are flying into Newark and wondering is it easy enough to get a cab to times square. Do they operate the same system as JFK airport (that I've read on the dibb). You wait at the taxi rank and given a price. Also does the price include tolls and tip.We would need a larger cab as my son uses a folding wheelchair plus our luggage. Will we be charged a lot more for a larger vehicle. I thought we were flying into JFK but it seems we fly into Newark and leave from jfk. Apologies for all the questions.

We got a taxi the other way (Hotel near Times Sq to Newark) and it was around $80-100, if I remember correctly but it was a long time ago. Going from the airport to the hotel, we took a train to Penn Station, then a cab to the hotel. This may not be an option for you if you have a wheelchair though. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Took about an hour , this was @09:30 in the morning into NYC coming back we used a yellow cab from hotel (new yorker) and paid about $90 incl tips/tolls and literally took 25 mins mid afternoon HTH |
