Flight now 6 hrs earlier. how to change?

Booked with Alamo Brits. Norwegian now changed their flight to 6 hours earlier! When I tried to amend time on booking they want to charge me today's prices which is almost 200 more. how can I just change time?

Don�t. Just arrive early. It won�t be a problem but you will need to drop off earlier as the bookings are in 24 hr blocks from the actual collection time.

The time on your booking doesn�t really matter.

even 6 hrs early. Alamo say cannot amend. I can turn up but if not available I have to wait till the time booked! crazy. Won't be using alamo brits again. Going to try other quotes as can cancel this one I think if I can get a decent price.

Just leave it as it is. The times on the booking don't mean anything. Collect it whenever you get there, return it by that time on your last day.

There are plenty of cars at the airport so it�s not an issue at all. If it was a tiny Office where a car had to be delivered for you personally then maybe but the airports have plenty of vehicles.

and it�s not just Alamo Brits. I�ve done the same before with another company and was told the same. We just arrived late and no one batted an eye.

When you booked the car, I'm sure that you probably filled in your flight details so they should be aware of the change anyway.

it's an airport location. At MCO you get to choose your vehicle from a large inventory.
what you've been told about car not being available is only valid at smaller locations where they allocate your car.

You can collect 6hrs early, there WILL be a car for you. But remember you'll also need to drop it off 6 hours early
If you were supposed to collect at 7pm but exit the garage at 1pm, you will need to return the car at 1pm or sooner. The time you exit the garage is the time you must return the car (on or before)

I don't get the point about not using brits again ... every company has the same policies and alamo in general (brits is just a rate) are rather easy to use as far as pickup times go.
So, in your situation, and a 6hrs flight change, I would be glad I booked with alamo and not with a company that would have had me cancel and rebook at a higher price, or even charge me an extra day without telling me
