Magic Keepers

Hi all,

I don't want to wear a magic band (tan line) so I'll get a magic keeper, has anyone used the cheaper caribiner clip style? Are they durable? We've got water bottles with caribiner clips half of which have broken so I'm a bit nervous about relying on one.

I had an idea to get one of the more expensive Mickey shaped ones with a clip and clip it onto my retractable ID badge holder I use for work so I can clip it on my waistband, will I look like a numpty or do other people do that?

amazon/Retractable...le+card+holder

Thanks

My DW is the same and so we bought the smaller one last August. The caribiner seemed fine but we took a retracting clip and she used tghat more. We just swapped out on waterpark days.

Putting the back on with the puck installed was very tricky (even the CM in the shop struggled when I took it back. The clips were just too tight so I ended up cutting off 2 of them with a small pen knife as it had screws to hold it in anyway.

Here is your friendly reminder that even a slight tan means the DNA of your skin cells is damaged. Sunblock = no tan line from magic band and healthy skin!

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming

People are always surprised how un-tanned we all are when we get back, I'm a big fan of the factor 50+

Thank you, it's good to know I won't be the only one with a retractable clip!

Ahhh I love a tan line from a watch etc let’s me see how brown I am! We use sun cream but we all tan really easily, the kids go golden after a day and then just get darker as the holiday goes on. Even with factor 50 doesn’t stop it, it just delays it by a day!
I’ll be wearing my magic band and admiring my tan lines haha

I hate those Magic Bands with a passion. Is there an alternative like the cards they used to do?

I considered the magic keepers for last year because the MBs annoy my wrist but I was worried it would fall off and I’d lose it.
