We are doing this from Edinburgh in October. Just downloaded the Gatwick app - fab tip!

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to eat breakfast at south terminal?

Airport charges are lower from Edinburgh than Glasgow.

Holden- Edinburgh, tbh we don't normally consider this route as we only live about 20 miles from GLA but found the Edinburgh route whilst tinkering about with airports. Our Flying Scot parking is also slightly cheaper.

did exact same flight last July in Glasgow for 5.30 straight through security had a coffee waited until Gatwick for breakfast plenty of time.
Worse bit was the connection on way back about 3 hours at Gatwick when we were all shattered and grumpy, then the flight and a 1 hour drive home.

I'm doing more or less the same flight - first flight in the morn and 2hr 45min to change over in London Gatwick.

However...on the way back we only have 1hr 15mins from getting off the MCO-LGW leg til the GLA leg starts... is that long enough?

We did it last year, plenty time for breakfast in Gatwick but word of warning, please be careful, my husband's bank card was cloned in Gatwick
