Why isn't this individual still a manager and not now sitting on a till?

Maybe he failed people skills!

For me the manager bottled it. He should not have asked the op if there was anything g she wanted. Cop out! He should have at the very least sent her a bouquet of flowers as an apology.

(And yes I speak as having trained retail staff, taught autistic teens and having a son on the spectrum as well as a customer perspective)
