Are the laundry tablets ok in washers in USA? When we were there last year it said only to use liquid in the machines... I prefer to take the tablets we use at home but didn't want to risk breaking the washer! If they're fine I will be packing them this year!

Ooo think I'll take coffee. I've taken cereals before, will do again, just some to start with as we also love american cereals. We like the small robinsons squashed juice too. It cuts costs a bit to take stuff. We take all our toiletries and like others have said, it guarantees space in the case coming home.

Do you list it all out separately on the customs form, coffee, tea, cereals etc?

I don’t take cereal but I do take washing and dishwasher tablets as well as teabags. I love the Apple and Cinammon Cheerios there so those are a buy for me although I did consider taking some with me as well. I also consider it space and weight reserving for return home. Don’t do it that early mind you usually just a week or two before we go.
