Mobile Orlando to Manchester via Atlanta

Hi everyone ! Can someone help, I have a delta flight from Orlando to Atlanta and Atlanta to Manchester , it’s 2 separate bookings so can someone tell me what will happen , thanks guys

you will clear security and customs in Atlanta. you will collect your bags then pop them on to the transfer belt. you will then get into MCO on an internal flight and miss the massive immigration queue there.

newsh30 is asking about going from Orlando to Manchester on 2 separate bookings, so VickyJ's comments about what happens when you are going the other way on 1 booking are not relevant.

newsh: I guess you are asking if you and your luggage would be checked through, as they would be if they were a single booking - you don't collect your bags at ATL if on a single booking. I don't know the answer to that - my advice would be to contact Delta, if the booking of both flights is with them, as they will know. I am guessing that you are effectively doing an ordinary domestic flight to ATL, then doing a separate international flight from there, so might need to check in again. If you speak to Delta, maybe they can link the 2 bookings - you won't know unless you talk to them!
