DCL Med questions!

Afternoon!

Looking to go DCL next year and this will be our first time. What is included in the price? We will have a 1 year old, will they enjoy it?

Thank you in advance!

Everything except - shore trips and alcohol. Most young kids don't want to leave their special areas but not sure about infants.

Great thanks - are gratuities included?

How far from port are the places on the Med one? Thinking if the transfer is too far away we can stay on the ship that day!

I think if you want to use the kids clubs for infants you have to pay for that as well.

No gratuities are not included in the cruise price so you will need to pay these additionally

Gratuities are separate. Trips vary depending on where you are. For example: ship may dock at Civitavecchia for Rome but transfer is approx 50 minutes. Other visits may be more local. All depnds what ports you stop at.

We did the 7 night med last year and our daughter was 18 months, we had a great time doing another cruise this year! We did use the nursery for her afternoon nap so we weren't stuck in the cabin in the afternoon, she was happy there :-)

We made use of the older clubs open houses and took our daughter there, she loved it. There is also a toddler specific toddler time activity on the ship.

We didn't do any excursions and just did our own thing, worked well!
