I haven't been the Escape but have been on the Epic and have two further NCL cruises booked on the Jade and agin on the Epic. I really enjoyed my cruise with NCL, found it really relaxed and friendly plus the entertainment was more modern, in my opinion, than some of the more traditional cruise lines. The food was excellent on our cruise but we did eat mainly in the speciality restaurants as we had a dining package as one of our booking perks.
Have a fabulous cruise

We were on the Escape 23rd -31st July...Me, DH and DS (13) This is our 3rd cruise, having been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean. We LOVED the Escape, what a ship!. There is so much to do...if you feel like it.

Happy to answer any questions...fire away, what is your itinerary?

Would you say norweigen is similar to RC?

With the newer bigger ships can you have a set dining time?

I hate waiting for tables

Would love some piccies

Noticed yesterday if had a balcony could have three "extra" ... Good deal

Hi, NCL V RC, to be honest not a lot of difference in my opinion. Would cruise with either without question

NCL have free style dining so no set dining time. You simply arrive when suits you. You CAN book a table (although we didnt) so I guess this should save you waiting. There are 3 main dining rooms all serving the same menu and we never had to wait for a table even though we dined at peak times. I really enjoyed the freedom of eating when it suited and not being tied to set dining although I appreciate its not for everyone. One comment my DH made is you don't build a relationship with the wait staff as you are at a different tables/different restaurants.

The 3 extras is a brilliant deal, we had the drinks package and well worth it for us

Ah thank you xx

The bigger newer ones look like have more outside cafe/restaurants ? If so I think a great idea
