I think if both bookings were with the same company I would feel more sure of my ground.

Re the losing £500. Don't think of losing £500 but gaining £1000 ( if I have understood your costings). Seems a no brainer to me..

I've given them a call, they said they don't have access to the Disney deals, which I don't think I believe 😭 but their prices aren't dropping in line with the deal.
