I thought TUI were stopping flying into sandford next year ?
We have TUI flights booked for next october Bristol to sandford - but I’m sure I saw they’re going to be flying into Melbourne instead ? It’s a long way off for us I know but we haven’t heard officially from TUI yet... OP I’d say for the ease of flying to florida from your local airport, - do it ! We all know the overnighter coming home & then the onward drive home can be a real drainer... |

I think the flights to Melbourne start in 2022. So they are still to Sanford next year. Or at least I hope so! 😀
I think your right about it being easier to fly from somewhere local. The drive home is always awful. So the shorter the better! Its worth a few extra pounds in the long run. I'll just never look at the prices again. 😀 Edited at 08:10 PM. |

👍👍 As you said, once you factor in the hotel at Manchester, Travel, food etc - (we also always stay over the night before at gatwick or heathrow), I’d say give it a go - we’ve never flown to Florida from Bristol before but it’s literally under an hour away so the return journey will be a doddle ! (Hopefully ! )
Gotta love your local airport... all we need now is Covid to clear off so we can all be happy travellers again over the Atlantic ! |

I am finding flights for next October close to £1k from Bristol in September, so I don’t love my local airport that much!
