In my view it isn't enough.
You have to go through security and immigration. But the big problem is if your inbound plane is delayed. There are not many options if you miss your connection and you can be delayed days. Dublin while a great airport - it is a VERY bad place to miss a connection. We use Dublin a lot and aim to be there four hours before the flight. When connecting, I would be going the night before. Yes providing your flight to Dublin isn't delayed to much did this a few years back, had a 3 hour connection time and we were through security and immigration ( no queue at all) within the hour of getting of first flight, so even had enough time for brunch.

I think as long as ur inbound flight isn’t delay then should b enough. Cos u do clear US customs in Dublin which could take some time. You go thru additional security screening and depends on the queues at customs.
Last time we got there over 2 hours before to clear customs but they had an issue with my passport and I nearly missed my flight but luckily my flight was delay. So just about made it. |

did it last week, 2 hours is plenty. you run risk of delayed planes wherever you fly through.
