Mobile Where in Italy?

Where would people recommend in Italy for a family holiday either 7 nights or 10 nights? Any hotels recommendations? Looking at possibilities for next year and don’t feel confident about transatlantic so looking at alternatives. kids will be 9 and 14.

What about a eurocamp style holiday with kids that age may well love it.

I had a eurocamp holiday cancelled this year, and they were fantastic - early notification and quick refund. Area around lido.de Jesolo or possibly lake Garda? Lido de Jesolo / Veneto would be my suggestion.

We use either Eurocamp.or Vacansoleil.

We were in Peschiera Del Garda last month. There is plenty to do in that area and for the kids there is Gardaland and Movieland Theme Parks and Caneva Waterpark. For sightseeing there is the various towns round the lake which you can visit by boat and you are a short train journey away from Verona. A really lovely place to visit.

Do you book this type of holiday direct with eurocamp then flights separate. Do you know if there is a cheaper time to book either on release or last minute or does it tend to stay a similar price?def something I’m going to look into

If you add your name to their email.listinfs on their website you sometimes get offers. I think the early booking ones are out now ISH for next year. Have 90 deposit in my mind? I do it with them and then ask them to book me the easyJet flights when they are out (out now I think?) And then it is a package.

Vacansoleil is notably cheaper than eurocamp. Can also do yourself and book direct with the campsite. And DIY the flights or drive. But it's a looong way.

It’s does sound like there’s lots of things to do in the area. Did you stay in a hotel?was everywhere open when you visited or were a lot of places still closed?

Both Vacansoleil and eojrocamp.do odd day holidays / last minute holidays / cancellations. So if you are flexible you can often find the cheaper dates closer to the time. Very easy to so if you are opting to drive and going to wassneaar in Holland which we do regularly or the Vendée. Can do these relatively last minute. If flying to Italy are a bit constrained by flight availability. Easy to do. Travel light !

We stayed at Del Garda Village which I booked through the Polish Eurocamp site. It was a last minute holiday after having other flights etc cancelled and not our usual type of holiday. One of the cheapest holidays abroad I have had but one of the best, it was fantastic. Everything was open that we wanted to do and the water and theme parks were lovely and quiet.
