55 days to go
Well, our SoCal tickets have arrived. Has anyone used these before? They come in a little booklet so I am guessing you have to go to the Guest Services to swap these for a park ticket before entry - is that right? Also, I've paid off the balance of the holiday and booked a train back from London to Durham - £68 for all five of us which I didn't think was bad. Still to do... Book Disney Dining which you can do 60 days before but as we're doing Disney near the end of the trip, it's still a week or so before we can book. Print off various confirmations Continue to save spending money Get teen cards for DD and DS to travel on London underground system. I've half filled in application form but need to upload photo less than 1mb and mine are more than that - need to find out how to make them smaller...any ideas? |

50 days to go
Well, down to 50 days to go! Thanks to a thread on the main board (Thanks Purple_myra) I've booked Cirque du Soleil tickets (for Ka) for Hannah, Dan and I. Andrew said he wasn't bothered about going and Tom is too young (he would nly have been able to see Mystere but don't think he would sit). Feel a bit bad about leaving them but looking forward to it. |

Edited to say - are you there in June or July as your counter is a lot smaller than mine! Edited at 08:19 PM. |

Just to say we stayed at Holiday Inn Buena Park for 2 weeks over Easter - we LOVED it. Staff were soo helpful - especially the bell captains. Free shuttle to Disneyland & Knotts which we made good use of! We would return here in a heartbeat!
Also used south cal citypass - excellent value!

Oooooo so exciting! I have no idea what seats we are in tbh, I booked over the phone ages ago when ticketing was first released & just asked for the best seats they had, I know the didnt put us front row, she said she put us a bit futher back so we could see the stuff over head better.
We are there in July & at the same show as you! Last year I bumped into another Dibber (Rachy) in Discovery cove too, so on 2 trips now I will have bumped into Dibbers |

That's great to know, thanks. Do they swap the citypass booklets for proper Disney tickets?
Ooh, lovely, we could meet up just before if you want? I've never met another Dibber (though I have watched one from afar at Discovery Cove - in a non-stalker type manner - I was too scared to approach! How many of you are travelling? |

Hi We booked the citypass via Virgin so had to pick this up at Disney. We handed voucher to cast member at ticket booth who gave us disney ticket and voucher for citypass that had to be collected from City Hall, where they removed the Disney Voucher and stamped the front with the date Citypass first used - hth

Not long to go now at all, the excitement kicking in yet? I know it was for me when i was this close last year
We used the So Cal city passes and had no problems, from what I can remember except for Disney where we had to take the booklet to the ticket box to exchange the voucher for the 3 day hopper we just headed to the turnstiles with our booklets and they ripped the appropriate ticket out and let us through |
