I'm now in panic mode! We can't get a London hotel the night before our Eurostar crossing, they are all booked up, or at least those at a reasonable price, so might have to drive again after all.

I agree try places like late rooms, super breaks etc, they often have rooms on there when other places have sold out

I daren't leave it, we are booking the Eurostar tomorrow but if we can't sort a hotel then i'll book the Eurotunnel & Ashford/Folkestone hotels instead.

If you can't stay in London then go from Ashford. We stay at the Premier Inn Ashford North, about a 15 min drive from the station then parking is £11 per day.

I wonder why London is so booked up, how frustrating for you!

Oh, and going from Ashford means less time on the train, so less time walking up and down the aisles with your little one!
