Cheese, onion and chutney for me, but be wary of hot chutney!

Triple fried egg chilli chutney sandwich!

My favourite toastie is my breakfast one:

Requires (per toastie):

1 egg
Grated cheddar cheese
Pancetta
Some form of spread (I use olive oil based spread)
Two slices of bread

Method:

1. Cook the pancetta until crispy
2. Butter the bread and place it butter side down on whatever you are using to make your toastie (pan or grill)
3. Push down slightly in the middle of the bread to make a slight indent
4. Put half the grated cheddar cheese on the bread
5. Arrange the pancetta in a ring on the bread on top of the cheese (idea is to make a ‘well’ which keeps the egg inside)
6. Take an egg and discard the majority of the yoke
7. Put the yoke inside the ring of pancetta
8. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top
9. Put the other slice of bread on top with the butter side up
10. Close toastie maker or leave to go brown if cooking one side at a time.

TOP TOASTIE TIP FOR GRILLS WITH TWO HOT PLATES - Flip halfway through cooking as it seals the sides better

11. . When both sides of the bread are golden brown remove them from the toastie maker
12. ENJOY THE FABULOUS TOASTIE AND TAKE CROWN OF KING OR QUEEN OF BREAKFAST TOSTIES!

this thread made me get the panini press off the kitchen windowsill. today for lunch i had turkey ham, gouda, bbq chicken bits, cheddar and jalapenos with a spicy russian mustard

(basically all the meats and cheese we had in the fridge that needed using)

Was looking at panini grills on amazon, then realised I had a large George foreman (used once in 6 years) ... I had cheese, bacon and mushroom, DH had egg, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes (he doesn’t eat much cooked cheese)... both were great...
Thanks for all the ideas...

Avocado maple smoked streaky bacon is a favourite in here
Bread dipped in egg cinnamon and brown sugar then fill with a marshmallow or two and a couple of squares of chocolate for a sweet treat or use big crepes
A pita pocket fill with bean chilli cheese etc I even use my George Foreman for home made Calzone pizza works a treat
