We knew the flights were going to be expensive because we wanted in to sf and out of sd, it would’ve been cheaper lhr-lax returns but this suits us better. Adding the hotel made it a package so I paid £350 deposit and the rest is not due until 3 weeks before travel so it gave us a bit more flexibility and protection in the current climate

I will definitely be checking BA regularly to maybe include car hire and be able to book with deposit👍

Just had a quick look aer Lingus April next year £480. Obviously flights will be out September depending on your date. There are several air lines that go from Dublin so worth checking all options

We are meant to be flying with BA this summer but will be moving it to next summer. We were flying from LHR to Las Vegas then San Fran to Heathrow and they were about £700pp incl seats.

We paid £720pp including an SUV LHR-SFO return with BA. It would have been a lot cheaper - around £200pp less if we had gone at the end of the summer hols but were restricted on dates due to DD's GCSE results. We travelled 15/07-05/08
