Any Norwich Dibbers - does the premier inn at Broadlands have places nearby to eat etc, and would it be easy to get bus into Norwich do you think?

If you don't want to stay in the city centre. The Premier Inn near the Showground has a table table restaurant next door. In the business park across the road there is a Marston pub, Macdonalds, pizza hut, m&s food Hall, Costa and greggs. Buses run past regularly, at least every 30 minutes and its about a 15 minute journey by bus into the city.

Where are you planning to visit whilst in Norwich.

The Premier Inn by the train station is pretty easy to get to. Off the bypass by county hall, round past the football ground, up to the train station and round the corner.

Not the nicest of areas but easy walk up the hill into the city. There is also the Riverside complex over the river with a cinema, bars and restaurants.

If you are staying at that premier inn for a reason (eg work) there’s a brewers fayre and a costa close by. There are buses into the city centre but as others have said you are better off staying near the city centre if you can

Broadland is much nicer than the showground, Brewers Fair, another chain restaurant and Costa next to it.

20 mins from coast, 10 mins from city, buses are regular to city.

If you travel in on Yarmouth Road, Thorpe Road there are lots of good independent pubs, restaurants and cafes along the river, and a fantastic real ale pub.

The Premier Inn Nelson is much better placed for the city than the one by the football ground, across river, City side, from train station.

Football Ground is a Holiday Inn, far nicer than the Premier Inn Nelson, but as you say an extra 10 minute walk into the city centre, but closer to the Riverside complex. There is also a fairly new Travelodge around the corner opposite the multi-story car park.

Not really much difference between the Showground and Broadland, depends on which side of the city you need to be. Only reason to use them is that they are directly on the bypass at either end.
