Mobile BA Pilots Strike

Anyone else worried about this to the point of searching online every day? We go in August on BA and worried our holiday will be ruined by a strike.

Does anyone know a BA Pilot who can say when they might strike if the vote is to take action on Monday? (Which seems likely)

Worried...

I’m worried in that we fly out on 30th July and due back on 14th August. I’m not sure what happens if they strike and we are still out there.

I don't care about coming home. More time on holiday (paid by BA) and an amazing excuse for work!

Sorry I should have explained I’m really worried that they may choose not to fly me out on the first place, if they think they will have to foot the bill for me being out there for longer. Although I’m sure it will break my heart being out there and longer off work Can I just ask, as it’s a BA holiday, would they definitely foot the bill if I was ‘stuck’ out there, or would I have to go through my insurance do you know? Thanks

We fly on 10th August to Fort Lauderdale, I'm just trying not to think too much about it, carry on as normal until we hear otherwise. We have a cruise on the 16th so I'm glad we have spare days to get there if there are issues.

I know a Ba pilot well and cabin crew and they are 100% going to strike but who knows when🤷I fly late August so hoping it’s all sorted and they get what they deserve.
