Paper Craft Tips.

I wondered if it would be good to have sticky thread (if that is alright by you Stu as you would have to do the sticky bit) with some carfting advice. If that were possible I would certainly contribute. What about it.

Its a good idea, but for all crafts, as I think there are quite a few stitchers on here. It could help us compile a list of stockists, add to it and alter it e.g. closure or change of address.

I have replied to your PM, but for everyones benefit please note the following:-

If a post/thread is deemed useful and contains information that really should be easily available then you can request for it to be made Sticky.
You can ask a Moderator or Admin to consider the post to be made Sticky, if we agree then the post will be stuck to the top of the forum.

Any post that is to be made sticky, should contain well laid out and easy to read information or links to other posts/threads that contain useful information.

OK first tip. If you want your album or cards to last beyond your life time Always use products that are acid and (if possible) lignin free. Both of these are found in paper made from tree pulp and will eat away at your photos. That is albums as well as what goes in them. Ordinary photo albums are full of acid. If you want to use any paper memorabilia such as tickets, or maps then either laminate them or cover your photos (cold lamination or plastic sleeves) don't forget that the covering must be acid free too. If you don't want to pass on the albums (or cards) then you might get away with having some unprotect products but better safe than sorry is the motto here. Disney has a big range of products that at totally safe.
