Alamo Full Size SUV

For those of you who’ve had a full size SUV from Alamo recently we’re they mainly 7 or 8 seaters? Quite fancy a 7 as my teen boys would love the captain seats in second row.

Please do let me know. An outline of what vehicles were available (hopefully not loads of Nissan Armadas! ) would be great too.

All full size SUVs are now made as Standard to 8 seat configuration.
A customer can order at a significant premium to have it a 7 seater or in some model cases a 9 seater.
Hire companies order generic models so 99.9% are the Standard configuration so that is the amount that will be 8.
Manufacturers sometimes to meet a hire companies large order will add in a cancelled non generic ordered model to complete the total but this is rare.

Safe and sound indeed. Straight to Virgin Holidays booth at Alamo and they requested my full size SUV. I couldn't see the line and a Nissan Armada was brought round. Thankfully, someone else heard the call out for my vehicle and a Ford Expedition came round a few seconds later. I'd already mentioned that I'd prefer a US make and model so they happily let me take that one (I'll post pictures in the appropriate thread at some point this week).

The Expedition has a 2-2-3 seat configuration but we struggled to get three cabin bags in the boot with those last three seats up!

Increasingly convinced they try to foist the Armada on people who don’t specifically ask. They know no one really wants it.

Hi
Great result getting a 7 seater, by all accounts only 0.1% of full-size SUV’s will be.

Not so great this morning though as the rear wiper switches on when the engine switches off! At Discovery Cove today so will sort it with Alamo later if the battery is flat (got cut off when trying to ring them this morning).
