Going On An Adventure Day 21

Up at 7.15, out at 8am for a bus to Magic Kingdom. Get there for about 8.20am, through bag check and a quick stop for breakfast. Sadly today is our last day, so we wanted to make the most of it.

It was quiet for park opening.

First stop as soon as park opened was Space Mountain. Loved it!

Then via Adventureland to Splash Mountain.

It was down for technical reasons

So while we were over here we used our 9.05 FP for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

But by the time we came off, Splash was back up. Only just opened and so we were on quite quick. That was the 3 mountains done by 10am.

Pirates was a 20 minute wait and it seemed rude not to...

Closely followed by FP2, Seven Dwarves, at about 10.30am.

We then took a slow walk to Tomorrowland and went on the People Mover.

Quick frozen cappuccino.

And sightings of superheroes.

Then FP3 for Buzz. While drinking the coffee I looked up how to get a decent score. It made very little difference but we had fun!

Toilet stop and look in the shop by Gastons. We were killing a bit of time before our lunch reservation. At this point, Seven dwarves was now down. We were lucky to get on those big rides when we did.

Then lunch at Be Our Guest. While drinking cappuccino I also pre ordered our food. So I only did that about an hour in advance but it did save time. Our reservation was 12.45. We checked in at 12.40 and got a yellow rose. We were straight in and found a table in the ballroom.

I had the vegetarian quiche.

Adrian had the turkey sandwich.

The theming is excellent. And the food was very nice for a quick service credit.

Then we had the small matter of pride to sort. We had done our research. We had another FP booked. We had another go at Buzz and this time we both did loads better. Here is Adrian's score!

I managed to improve as well.

Then back to the hotel for showers. We had to start packing 😥. It rained while we did this and still looked a bit gloomy when we headed out at 6. I cleared our room charges using the gift card, and checked we could still use credits tomorrow. Then the boats were not running so we hopped on a bus to Disney Springs. Dinner was at Terralina again. We swapped desserts for a salad, the amount of food was starting to take its toll!

I had the ravioli giganti again.

Adrian tried the parmesan burger. With chips. Which was really crisps. He had forgot the difference and was gutted 😂

We tried to make up for the fries disappointment with drinks. Adrian had wine, I had a Springs cocktail.

Followed by drinks at Paradiso 37. These were a very respectable price so we ended up having a couple of pints each (Stella on draught). Then took a walk along to Splitsville and grabbed a drink whilst listening to live music. A less respectable price for a couple of bottles of Magners 😣. Back on the bus home, nipped into the shop 5 minutes before closing (which is at 11pm) and got a bottle of wine. Well, it was our last evening and I still had credit on the gift card...

And so all we have left is a drive down to Miami tomorrow after checking out. 😭 trying not to think about it and enjoy every minute. Has been an awesome holiday 😁😁😁😁😁😁

What a great holiday. I would love to be there for 3 weeks. Thanks for sharing your trip. Hope you have a safe flight home-it’s a bit cooler for you back here!
