Contact delta on a VA booking

My flights that were scheduled for last month said to 'contact Delta' a couple of weeks before they were cancelled.

No need or reason to contact Delta, it's just their IT system and no doubt, barring a miracle, that the flight is cancelled.

I think you are exactly right - it is just the way their site responds to cancelled flights.

My outbound flight from Glasgow on July 4th now showing the same message.

Just thought I'd update, we've now had an email from Virgin to say that our outbound flight is cancelled.

I had a look at our dates if we was still going 19th august. Its says 1 stop non direct with delta now. 14+hr flight outbound 10+ hr inbound flight.
Glad we amended now.

We’ve received that email this morning also for our July 4th flight.

There’s something v odd going on. Got email this morning from Delta telling us that our MAN-ATL flight which is on virgin but booked through KLM is cancelled!

Haven’t yet heard from KLM (not surprising as they are an embarrassment of an airline) but the flight is showing as cancelled on their website.

Delta reply pretty quick via their Facebook page, I had a reply within a couple of hours.
