What are your achievements during lockdown?

Have you been training or trying to complete something you’ve been itching to do for ages.
I’ve taken the opportunity to train, as an ITA there is little business for 2020 but 2021 is looking like be an amazing year.
Today I became a Master with the Travel Uni.
Lots of hard work on each section of the courses.
Very happy.

I'm taking a course with Futurelearn on adhd and enjoying it. Also doing a little Welsh and French language learning on duolingo, mostly to encourage my daughter to keep up her languages with school.

I've ordered a massive Lego kit. Ships out in a few weeks. Keep seeing crafting kits on Facebook and I'm trying to stay strong. Book binding is coming up frequently and looks exciting.

My biggest achievement is not falling out with my family though! A few minor tiffs, but we're mostly getting along.

Initially DH, DS and myself were working from home, DS also finishing uni work off as it moved to online and also had dissertation, course work and assignments to complete. Now furloughed from his job.
Biggest achievement - that we're still speaking to each other! 😊

I have baked a sourdough loaf. Took it out of the oven midway through last evening and by breakfast time this morning there was only one quarter of it left!

Alcoholism and obesity (just kidding)

I've helped my grandad with communication, but getting in a mobile internet connect tablet. He's been able to look up stuff on Wikipedia (he loves history) and see people on Skype. He watched an old rugby game on it yesterday. He's getting good at it, especially subconciously (he used to struggle to press icons for example, now no problem) but I can also log in and take over to set it up for him.

I've learnt how to make bread

I've been getting a bit fitter using HITT sessions, and I've installed a TV with virtual walks on it, including Magic Kingdom and Epcot!

I've discovered new walking routes locally

I've got to know my neighbours a bit better! I've now even started up a Whatsapp group!

Finally sorted the garden out and the turned the spare bedroom into an office. we gave the bed and furniture to a young family in Dec but never got around to building the IKEA office table and cabinet I am WFH now so it's a godsend, otherwise I would have been sitting on the bed.
I can also look out the window at the garden, just need some plants now but they can wait until it is safer

And I've taken up pilates! Been interested in local classes for a while. Due to lockdown they are now online (instructional videos, not live through zoom etc). Very clear instructions and tops to check your technique. Can work at your own pace too. I'm only on lesson 2 and find some aspects challenging! Going to try lesson 3 today

I was doing Slimming World from end January and have carried on, despite no groups as DH is a watchful participant also. We’ve relaxed rules over Easter for example as we would have been on holiday but generally kept going with it
I have lost a stone and a half, he has lost a stone I’m half a stone from target so well chuffed.

We have also been walking 5-6 miles every day and where we live (adjacent to the Peak District) it’s very hilly and hard work for at least half of that distance

I am fitter and slimmer than I’ve been for 10 years so consider that to be an achievement
