That is unknown & depends on so many things including wind speed & direction, high tides, moon, discharges from Lake O, clean up crews etc

Been on Clearwater Beach at the Hilton all day. They looked to clear the beach this morning but there were more floating and landing all day. BUT nowhere near as many as yesterday. People were swimming but not for me
Dolphins were jumping around first thing just off the Pier!

Went to Clearwater last wednesday, went a little along from the pier and it was fine.

Beach had plenty of folk on it and lots of folk in the water

We are visiting St Pete beach on the 1st November for 3 nights. I'm hoping the red tide might of cleared up a bit by then. I am following the Pinellas county site on facebook.

The Red Tide prediction for the next few days is positive but things can change so quickly.

We are just back from six nights in Clearwater and no signs of red tide. Water clear with lots if little fish. We had no concerns about swimming in it😀

Apparently the red tide situation is bad today on the pinellas county coast due to the hurricane passing by, lots of fish washing up, brownish sea foam and lingering smell

Hopefully with the wind direction changing to offshore starting from the weekend the RT will be taken away from the coast.
