Outback or Longhorns

Longhorns 100%, its our favourite. I was put off by Outback when I had a cockroach run across my table!

Never tried outback due to poor reviews and have always loved Longhorns until last year.

After visiting Texas Roadhouse for the first time (twice) we went to Longhorns for our final night meal like we always do.
We found the quality of the meat not up to what it used to be. Steaks from TR were far better. Service was really poor as well. They were busy but not crazy busy that the service should suffer like it did.

Maybe it was just an off night but it's kind of put us off Longhorns.

We like both, but prefer Longhorn. Love Outbacks Bloomin Onion though 😋

We went to Longhorns twice when we there. My husband says it is the best steak he's ever eaten!

We first went to an Outback in 2003 and loved it. However in more recent years have we have not enjoyed them. Definitely Longhorns for me.

Yes indeed but a very narrow field just giving the option to choose from two. A more interesting poll I suppose would be to broaden it to include more of the "mid-range" tourist steakhouses such as Texas and Manny's.

A regular thread on here poses the question "which is the best steakhouse?" and oddly enough the vote seems to be swayed to "which is the best steakhouse for places twice the price of Longhorn?"

Having eaten $50 fillet steaks on WDW property (rarely ) I know for a fact that they are not twice as good as a $25 fillet from Longhorn. If cost is a measure of quality how good were the steaks at Ruth's Chris in San Fran a few years ago at $148 for two? Not three times better than Longhorn I can guarantee.

For us Longhorn would still just edge it over Texas in an expanded poll. Manny's at Haines would sneak in but sadly not the one on 192.

I'd need proportional representation to vote in an expanded poll.
