Charleys

As you know that Dave TFM and ourselves rate Charleys as the best steak place. It is number 1 in the state and 4 in the country.

Well if you go there and fancy a challenge then order the 50 yes 50 ounce porterhouse on the bone. Its not on the menu and not always available, suppose it depends on the cow! If you like it well done they remove it from the bone so it will cooked to perfection. If you eat it all they give you a free Charleys Steak Knife and its a good one too!

Nic would like to say he ate it no problem and bring on the challengers!

His steak knife is still in the box looking very shiney as he says there are no steaks worth its time in the UK!

I've seen some really bad reviews of Charleys lately on other sites

Shelley,
This is one of DH's Absolute to do's. No doubt he will be taking the challenge in June.

Way to go Nic

Dragged DW here for my BIG 5 Oh! meal in September. It's a bit expensive but the steaks were superb! I'd return tomorrow - if someone else was paying!

There are two restaurants. One on 192 and the original (and some say, the best) on Orange Blosson Trail just south of the Florida Mall

We went there on Christmas eve, the meal was one thing but I had quite a few Cosmopolitons at $8 a pop so our bill was huge.
