hotel prices - have I been spoilt ?
Hi,
Every now and again I wander aimlessly around the internet and I was looking at hotels in Portsmouth NH ( found a cheap carrier) and every hotel is like $90 a night, cheapest. I think $30 a night is more reasonable (Howard Johnson, Rodeway Inn) so have I been spoilt or is $90 the real price? Thanks Russ

I think $30 is more unusual in the rest of the usa, it's only because there are so many hotel rooms in Orlando that you get prices like that.
I often look at the websites hoteldiscounts and hotelkingdom (which maybe the same company I'm not sure) and they don't even cover New Hampshire, so I think it's fair to say there isn't the same glut of hotel rooms on the market in that area I did find this linkclick here showing rooms from $50 Bev |

Portsmouth, NH is actually quite small, so if you find a $30 room, I can guarantee you won't want to stay there.
Florida is one of the few areas with rooms this cheap. |
