What time to get to parks

If we’re planning on staying on site and rope dropping, what time should we be at the parks to get in before the queues build up?

I know on site get extra 30 minutes, so should we aim to be there 1hr before park opening?

Also is it just some rides that are open 30 minutes before or all of them?

The rides are all listed here disneyworld/guest-...s/early-entry/

For MK we got there about 20 mins before the rope drop time and it was fine. The others we ended up being late and missing most of the early entry time but still got to do some rides.

We kept missing buses because I was fighting with my contact lenses every morning trying to get them in!

Depends on the time of year and how busy the parks are etc but when the advertised opening time was 9am we have got there at 7.30 and there were still plenty in front of us. My rule is if we are up and ready let’s get there and in line! All part of the fun soaking up the atmosphere!

We went to HS today and got there at 7:30 for 8:00 opening. They started letting us through the gates around 7:40. We went straight to the queue for Rise of Resistance and were in the first pre room for the experience by 8:03.
