Presumably the certificate just gives a date though rather than a specific time, and hopefully I am just massively overthinking this..!
Just a quick update for anyone else in the same position. The cruise line (Holland and America) have confirmed that they don't take into consideration the time of the test - the key thing is that it has the appropriate date on the test certificate. I am much happier knowing we can test for the cruise before leaving the country.

So, can I clarify please - I can order from Qured/DocHQ in the UK - have the tests delivered to UK address to pop in the suitcase and then take the test in the US via video link appointment (bearing in mind UK time difference)? Thanks.

That's exactly what I've booked to do. When you book your appointment, you can say where you're going to be, and it shows it in that time zone. We're going to be in Seattle (Alaskan cruise), so have booked our test for 9.20am in Seattle (shows as Los Angeles time zone).

Thanks for this and the orginal question! We have a 7 night Alaska cruise from Vancouver (Celebrity), in the middle of our 3 week trip and we need a test 3 days before boarding!

Was looking at prices in Vancouver and they are £70+ each for an antigen test! Taking our own will be cheaper, but harder to get a physical copy! Plus will need good WiFi as no data in Canada! Not sure what to do! 🤔🤔

We're doing Celebrity, but from Seattle. Spending a week in Seattle first (fly next Friday!).

We're staying in a hotel, so assume we can probably print them off there if needed, but I can't see why showing them the certificate on our phones wouldn't be acceptable?

Could you pay for a days data on your phone? Or maybe where you are staying will have internet?

Like you, I looked at testing out there but it was silly money.

We aren’t going for months yet so I know the situation could be different at that time. My question is do you need to do a test before flying back to the UK?

Thanks, I just worry that I will miss something as there has been so many changes in the last year or so - probably change again before November!

I know what you mean.

The test before going out is still a nail biter but after that it's all plain sailing. Hoping for test on way out to be dropped by the time we go in September - got two cruises so not keen on double jeopardy!

Next Friday! Have a fantastic time 😁.

We fly to Seattle on the 19th May, cruise is the 27th May from Vancouver? Are you on the Millennium?

Should have WiFi at the hotel, and think dh will buy an esim so should be able to use his phone? (Can't use an esim in my phone unfortunately!). Haven't done Celebrity check in yet, need to make sure I haven't missed anything 😅.

Love to know how you get on? 😁
