If you click the holidays tab at the top of the page, then select your airport of choice for departure, for destination it is Fly drive MLB. The list for all available fly drive dates and costs will show. Select the date of your choice, then you can select and view the available seating and charges. Extras will give you the options for cars upgrades and also the better options for car insurance. Some great prices with Tui this year good luck hope you manage to find something useful.

With the car hire prices increased and staying increased, we upgraded our car hire to include the gold car insurance, you get additional drivers and can take the car with a full tank of fuel and return empty, I have read on here though, make sure you check your receipt when you hand the car back as Alamo staff seem to automatically add the fuel cost on thinking you had the inclusive package where you take full and return full.

We was quoted £466 and we snapped her arm off at the price as our car hire though DFCH was over 1k

I never agree to return empty as it’s impossible to do that unless you want to push the vehicle into the car park?!
Return full and fill up just outside the airport 👍

It doesn’t mean you have to literally return the car empty x just means you don’t have to go the the hassle of filling the car on the way to the airport.

We always opt to return empty where possible.

It means you’re giving them fuel you paid for me they’re selling you more expensive fuel than the local pumps. If you find buying fuel a hassle and are willing to pay for that privilege good for you

Do they ever work out cost effective?
Even with the big increase in car hire the price for next year is about £ 300 more expensive PP

One i was looking at was £1009 for 3 people but looks like you need to upgrade the insurance at a cost of £260 this was for 11 nights
