Changing the date of Discovery Cove
I've booked Discovery Cove but made a stupid mistake and would've much preferred it on a different day. I know that you can change your once date for free (depending on availability) but if I do change it, what would happen if the new date gets cancelled because of bad weather? If DC cancel your booking because of bad weather then they will book you in on another day - but would I lose that privilege because I'd already used up my one free change? Not sure if that makes sense or not!

You could ring them and explain? They are very helpful. I use Google Hangouts to ring for free on Wifi.

We had to change our date due to bad weather and they were really helpful. I know you're worried about changing it twice. This is the official policy ($50 for a further change)
Changing or canceling a reservation At Discovery Cove, we recognize that vacation plans sometimes change. To accommodate this, we will allow one complimentary date change prior to your visit. Further changes to your itinerary will be provided for a nominal charge of $50 per change. If you need to reschedule your Discovery Cove visit, one complimentary date change is allowed, pending availability. Bookings made within 7 days of original reservation date will be booked at the original rate. Bookings made outside of that time will be subject to change based on seasonal rates for the new date chosen. Please note: If you decide to cancel or rebook your Discovery Cove reservation within 30 days of your visit there is no refund. If the cancellation notice is provided more than 30 days from your originally scheduled arrival, you will receive a full 100% refund. If you have to change or cancel your reservation, please contact the Discovery Cove reservations center at 1-877-557-7404. International guests, please call 001 (407) 370-1280. Good Luck Pete |

Thanks, guys. Buzz, I read those Ts&Cs about changing but they have a separate thing saying that they will always reschedule you if *they* have to close because of bad weather - I'm just unclear as to whether that would count as a 2nd change or not... I'll give them a call though, thanks.
