Discovery Cove Question

Hi,

Do I need to go to Discovery Cove 1st before I visit SeaWorld/Aquatica?

Planning what to do today and I think I recall I need to go to DC first for photo ID? If so are they all relatively close to each other?

You don't need to visit DC first...your barcode will let you into the other parks..

They are about 5 minutes drive from each other...

You can visit the other parks before you visit discovery cove your seaworld/aquatica tickets are valid for 14 days, you just have to make sure your discovery cove date is within that 14 day period.

You can use the barcode on your tickets to enter any of the other parks on your package before your dc visit. We went to busch on our 1st day last year.

Yes you don't need to go to Discovery Cove first. We did Aquatica before we did DC, they are only 5 mins away from one another.

We visited SeaWorld first, but popped into Discovery Cove on the way to get a photocard pass to let us in the parks. This meant we didn't have to worry about the paper ticket. You can also get the car parking pass then too.

Also, by doing this, it checks you into your Discovery Cove day. So if you haven't got a swim or SeaVenture planned, you can go straight through without checking in on the day. Could save you bags of time and pick a perfect spot at DC

As others have said, definitely not

On another note, if you go to SeaWorld after DC you don't have to pay for parking! We popped in there to do a couple of coasters after our Discovery Cove day and just showed them our lanyards.
