To all you Dibbers who have just returned

What were the parks like?

I have read a few posts by people who said the parks were really busy.

We are going 28th May 2017 for 2 weeks.

We went in May 2015 and didn't find them too bad, just wondering what the difference was between this year and last or is it people's perceptions who have maybe been at a less busy time of year before.

Thanks all.

We returned on Friday having gone out on May 22. I didn't think it was particularly busy in any of the parks. Seaworld was pretty empty tbh. Magic Kingdom was the busiest of-course. We did notice it getting steadily busier after the first week. We made good use of the fast passes booking from mid day to about 3 and then going on to the app to book more as we went along. We booked one night at ASM to do this. We had fastpasses for all the main rides and also Anna and Elsa. Good use of the fast passes is the key I think. We also had a night at Hard Rock for the 2 day front of line passes at Universal. This was invaluable and I only knew about it from the Dibb. We also had an afternoon at Universal where it lashed it down. We arrived as the rest of the park were leaving ! We went on everything in both parks twice including the HP rides as walk on's

I am really impatient at queuing and I didn't think it was busy ! I read on the Dibb while I was away that people were saying it was really busy whilst we were there but I honestly don't think it was. I don't have very young children with me though so may be that would make a difference.

I thought May was a really good time to go.

I fly home in two days, came out may 31st. First ever time this tine of year, have always cone around Easter so I think I was expecting the parks to be noticeably quieter, but they weren't really. MK was heaving by lunchtime, couldn't move in fantasyland, but queues were normal, 60-90 fr the mountains, 120 sdmt and 30 ish for most others so I guess not as busy as it felt. Definitely busier this week compared to last week. Got to Epcot at rope drop, straight round to tt and it was already 30 (how?) I think the parks are just generally getting busier every year

We came back 5th June. Only did Universal but parks were busy to us (we are used to October half term lower crowds)

We did early entry and evenings when waits fell to 15/20 mins or so.

By 10.30am Despicable me was 90 mins
