Passes in the parks, would we get any help
Hi guys just wanting to ask for your opinions
My mum had an operation and has been left with a lot of nerve damage around her right arm/chest area, she had her lung removed and has since developed copd, amongst other things. Someone i spoke to suggested we ask in the parks for a disability assistant pass. So id just like to ask if this is something she would be allowed to have? Thanks x |

Case by case scenario The first day you get to one of the parks go immediately to guest relations - explain the problem and take any documents or letters with you (we use my kids and/or wife's blue badges). They are very good and all be it maybe wary or ask a few questions first they are always helpful in the end. I've seen too many lazy, stupid, ignorant people abuse the system over the years and they are doing their utmost best to ensure those who need help, like your mum, get it. What is great is if she has a hard time standing in line for an hour the pass will allow you to wait on a bench nearby or near toilets or whatever the need is for the hour then get on. Very good system much better than it was back in 2000-2005
