It'll Be Christmas At Disney: Live Trip Report

So the day has finally arrived. After months and months of counting down, planning we are finally settled into our rooms at Gatwick Airport, ready for our long travel day to Orlando tomorrow.
I'm Glenn and I will try to keep this updated as much as possible throughout our trip.
We are about to embark upon three glorious weeks in Orlando.
Our cast consists of me, my sister Cheryl, my niece, Eva, my dad, Graham and my Mum, June. This is our fifth trip to Orlando and our first with a toddler.

So let's get this rolling.

I started the day early as I had to go to work this morning. A nice eight hour shift cut down the middle so I said my goodbyes at 11:30am.

Had to potter about when I got home with last minute packing. My mum was putting the finishing touches to the 3 day cleaning marathon she was running. My dad packed up the car and we set off about 4:50pm. Traffic was easy and we arrived at Gatwick about 5:50pm. The line for Twilight Check-In was a bit slow and there was a cantankerous man behind us who didn't understand the concept of waiting. He even slouched himself on the counter as our cases were being weighed and also interjected whilst we were being seen to.
We had to check in the car seat then we headed to the hotel.

Little one has had a sickness bug today so hasn't felt the ticket so we decided to sneak in a McDonalds after the bar menu didn't excite us.

We are all settled in now. All tired but excited. Eva is feeling a little better now and managed to eat a couple of nuggets.
