Sunday 14th May US Mothers Day .. What do you do?
Looking at various Busy Day Guides, the only thing they seems to agree on is that the Parks (the ones we will be going to) will be super busy!
We also have tickets for The Orlando Eye & Madame Tussauds, however guessing they'll also be very busy that day.. So I was wondering, what do Dibbers do in Orlando on Morhers Day? Contemplating having a shopping day unless there are better suggestions. Many thanks in advance

I thought Mother's Day was Sunday? We arrive Saturday night (from NYC) and will be going to MK on Sunday for lunch. Looking at last years Mother's Day (8th?) the parks didn't look too bad for wait times.

My mistake, it is Sunday typing error. No idea what to jot down on the itinerary for that day ...

Following with interest. Don't really want to do a park as I think it will be really busy. Thought about a shopping day and posted on the shopping thread about sales and special offers but it appears that prices are cheaper before and after the Mothers day weekend.

We actually arrive on that day and are unsure what to do. We had planned on going to Disney springs for some food, but if it's going to be busy then it might just be the hotel for food.

Oh no, I was hoping for some great deals at the shops, might just head to a park we've already done or plan a pool day ...
Also got FunSpot planned on this trip so not sure if this will be a good idea or not ..?

We were there last year for mothers day and if it hadn't been for the cast member in CBR food court giving the girls some flowers to give to me I wouldn't have known it was mothers day! I can honestly say I don't remember it being busy. I wouldn't worry about it too much

We were there last year also-
We generally observe rope drop and were given roses as we entered the park. Aside from that -am was no different. Can't comment on aft and evening though. |

Just realised NatOwls that we are both doing NYC and Florida at the same time, and from South Yorkshire. We are just outside Doncaster.
I want to do MK as our first park, even if it's just to wander around for an hour.
