Question about booking online and member services
Hi
I want to book 14 nights but in order to do this I need to purchase a couple of points from Member Services. I was going to book the first 13 nights online to ensure I get them booked asap as it opens an hour earlier and then ring member services to book the 14th night as I need to purchase a couple of points to complete the booking. my questions are: Can you buy the extra points online and do the whole booking online, or do i have to speak to member services ? If I book 13 nights online and then 1 night with member services will we stay in the same room for the whole 14 nights Any answers greatly appreciated Thanks

Unless it has changed you have to call to buy the one time points - I assume you are at the 7 month point?
Member services should be able to add to your existing reservation as long as you are booking the same view etc...

I actually called & done the whole booking at the same time, my only concern would be that you could end up with 2 booking references & they may tell you that you won't be guaranteed the same room.

If you ring they can add the night onto your existing reservation.
Last week I called, I had 2 reservations with a 2 day gap in between, I wanted to drop the last 2 nights and fill in the gap to join them together and then make them into one long reservation and they did that without any problem, I now have a single reservation number for the entire stay. I have in the past stayed on 2 reservation numbers and have always been able to stay in the same room. It doesn't actually make any sense for them to move you. If someone else comes to check in on the day your new reservation starts, they just end up in the other room, if you see what I mean, and you stay in your room and its one less room that needs cleaning. it does mean your trash and towel days get messed up though. |
