Anna Maria Isalnd, prices?

Hi, we were hoping to spend 5 nights on the coast for our trip in September, and love the sound of Anna Maria. However, i don't know where to start! There will only be the two of us, and so far I have been coming up with prices around £700. Does this sound about right? If so we may have to rethink our destination

Probably about that for 5 nights. Just been there today and had a great time. Lunch at the Sandbar, walk on the pier and a beach afternoon. Very warm and sunny today for March

Thanks for the reply, may have to rethink a stay there then and just visit for the day. I promised DH to keep the costs down if he let me book FL this year!

No, I thought because it is just the two of us a hotel would be cheaper. Will take a look, thanks.

My MIL and FIL stayed at By the C Studio (Club Bamboo) overlooking the gulf - booked through VRBO - nothing fancy but I think the cost was fairly reasonable about $135 per night and the view was amazing.

Forgot to add that Sept is low low low (I mean low!) season on the gulf coast so owners , ie, those on vrbo and the like, are more willing to drop prices if pushed unlike hotels.
It's worked for us in the past, we have paid a third less than the advertised rate in some cases.
