Old Town
We are thinking about heading to old town one of the weekends are are over to check out the car shows. Is this worthwhile? Just looking for something to do on an evening that's also a break from the parks..
Also, can anyone recommend anywhere nice to eat in old town? |

Well worth a visit either Fri or Sat. Cars are great (Parade is about 8.30 - 9.00) Live music, dancing in the street, great to watch even if not brave enough to join in! (Google Old Town to find which band is playing.) Atmosphere is wonderful!
Parking is free if you can find a space or $5 if you can't. The rides next door are good too, never been brave enough to try the one that involves being hoisted to a ridiculous height on a trapeze and then dropped. Even watching it makes me feel ill! |

Yes - it's a great night.. BUT...
Judging by your countdown you will be out there for the Celebration Exotic Car Festival which is April 9-12th. They have one day at 'Celebration' and you can just browse the cars and eat at the famous Market Street Cafe.. strongly recommend you do this if you love your super cars & movie cars. We did it 4 years ago and was amazing! Tip - get there early in the morning and have breakfast as car park get busy. celebrationexoticcars/
