I've eaten a lot of steak in WDW and my favourites are Le Cellier, Mama Melrose and Shula's.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. We are definitely doing BOG, but I loved the salmon there so may have a bit of a battle with myself on the day!
As we are staying at beach club I did wonder about yachtsman, but it does seem to get mixed reviews which puts me off somewhat. Have toyed with the idea of Cali, but thought it was more sushi - looks like I need to read the menu again! Does anyone know what time you can eat from in order to be allowed on the deck to watch the fireworks? Thanks once again

I've booked Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. I've read the steak is just as good as Yachtsman, but only 1 credit xx

Over the past couple of years we have enjoyed steaks at Mama Melrose and Be Our Guest. Went to Yachtsman's Steakhouse last year and loved it.
Re Cali Grill - our booking there last year was at 7.30pm, which was in plenty of time for Wishes at 10pm, but, I think I'm right in saying that if you have an earlier booking you are able to come back up later to watch Wishes. |

Hi we have done most places as well , had very good meal at yachtsman, narcoosses was also good with the added benefit of a cocktail and watching fireworks from the decking, le cellier we enjoyed the food but the thought the surroundings a bit drab and a good shout for single credit is chef de France

For steak you can not beat Yachtsman Steak IMO.
You can see the steaks hanging as you enter the restaurant and sometime you can also see them cutting it in to portions. DH had the filet last trip and I had the New York strip and both were excellent melt in the mouth. I think the thing that makes YS is the sides that they put with the steaks - I can not think of another restaurant on property that does the side dishes they do with steak. The gratin and beef fat potatoes are both to die for |

Le Cellier was the stand out last year. Fillet minion amazing. (2 credit). The New York strip at Coral Reef has always been great, but not last year (rained like mad so service could have been put out). Yachtsman fillet minion was good, server excellent but fellow diners allowing children to run around causing chaos was not good.
