We went last night

Excellent night at the Rodeo in Kissimmee. Real family feel and it was mostly tourists.

It is the real deal and the bull riders are competing for a 500 dollar price so they take it seriously. Felt really safe and didn't see a gun at all.

Definitely recommend it to everyone. Great night out

I did book the hay wagon ride and cookout in advance as they only do that on a Saturday night, I did it via email, it wasn't necessary to book the rodeo as the stadium is massive, as well as the actual rodeo they do some great displays so it is worth grabbing your popcorn and drinks and getting your seats early. There is much more to do down there in fact they have cabins to stay in but I think it was a minimum of 4 nights stay, I would have booked just for the Saturday night if I could have to save the long drive back but DH doesn't drink so it was no big deal they rest of us slept most of the way. I think they have now got indian tepees you can stay in as well.

We stayed overnight,in one of the cabins.it was gorgeous, with a wrap around verandah & rocking chairs.
We also said we would have liked to have stayed longer,as there were quite a lot of activities we were interested in.my husband & grandaughter loved the horse riding.
What a fantastic atmosphere,it is there on the sat night.really enjoyed our time in the saloon after the rodeo, with all the locals dressed in their finery & enjoying their line dancing.
The rodeo was great fun & the crowd had a great time.
Would highly recommend it.

I hated every minute of the rodeo. We had to leave early as it was too upsetting.

A bull came out the gate with a broken leg. It was awful. It was running and squealing until they shot it dead. Its poor leg was flailing everywhere and the noise it was making was horrific.

The guy commentating apologised then said "at least we know the BBQ is fresh tonight"

Needless to say we wont be back! I still feel sick at the thought of it.
