Never ran out of charge in the two weeks I was there. I charged my scooter up every night and carried my charger with me as recommended to start with as the company I hired from suggested that it would be possible to top up the charge during lunch break time etc in a restaurant. (the charger was no larger than a TV remote control) However, I didn't need to as the gauge indicated that after a full day's use, I'd only used about half of the batteries' range! I left the charger at the hotel after a few days.
During my holiday, I only saw one person with a scooter problem - I saw hundreds of scooters! - and it wasn't a lack of charge either. The company concerned had sent an engineer out to Epcot to replace the scooter. Charge the batteries up overnight and you won't have any problems. |

I used my own scooter on all apart from one day, and I never had any problems with the battery - it never lost a bar of battery the whole time. We charged it up every night in the villa.
However, on one of the days, I had to use a Disney scooter, and that ran out of battery by about 3.30pm in the afternoon. A cast member came with a replacement, which was fine - but we had to wait for her for about 40 minutes, which was not so good (although she gave us fast passes to use on any ride to make up for it).

I ran out of charge last year (my own fault - didn't charge it one night and I think possibly going too fast). We were at Disney Springs and had left the charger at the villa. Their mobility centre staff were amazing! They let us use their phone to contact DD's SIL at the villa and helped us arrange a taxi for her to bring the charger to us. They then let us plug it in and gave us a replacement until my scooter had enough charge to get us back to the car and sent us off to enjoy ourselves while they looked after my scooter. Didn't charge a thing and were nice enough not to give me a hard time! I love Disney!
