Ooooh, I wonder, I had a similar reaction but not as angry last year after an afternoon on brancaster beach in Norfolk. I may have to experiment to see if it is sand and yes there is sand at typhoon lagoon. I shall try out that theory

In the UK its called golfers rash. I have got it every year for the past 15 years or so and its caused by the walking combined with the heat. It always clears after a few days after coming home. Top tip is elevate legs and when walking around the parks spray with cooler spray or wet flannels when resting.
