IRS, TIN letter from DVC, updated ?
just had a letter from DVC stating we need to fill out forms to have a tax (TIN) number if not we are liable to get a $50 fine, we've owned for 7 years and not had one before, any idea what this means

I'd be interested to know what this is for too. We got one last year but dh says he never sent it back, only had it once in the 6 years we've owned

We have owned since 2003 and never had one. If I was you I would ring Member Accounting on Monday, they should have advice.

Hi, we joined in 1994 and also never received anything like this. I too would contact MS/MA. Please let us know any information you manage to find. Kind regards, Linda

Call Member Services and inform them that you are not an American citizen. (You think they would know this already!) As a non US citizen we do not fall under the same regulations they do and do not need to report to the IRS.
TIN - most Americans refer to this as their social security number. Edited at 03:23 PM. |
